Private?

I recently made this blog private.  There were many factors that went into this decision. For one, I want a place to write my personal thoughts and feelings.  Where I can look back and remember what I was experiencing at that time.  I have seen other blogs out there where the writer actually prints off her blog into a beautiful hard bound book.  I have visions of doing that someday.  Of course, I will have to become a much better blogger!  How fun to have something for my children and grandchildren to look back on and experience things along with me.  I don't want to be censored here.  This is my story and I want to be able to say what I feel like saying.  Yes, I am a brat!!!  I have found myself not posting certain things, certain pictures, certain sayings thinking "who is seeing this."  Now I know exactly who sees it, and I am pretty sure that anything I say here you already know anyway.  ;) 

However, the main reason I decided to go private is because of all of the threats to military families out there right now.  I don't want a place where someone who wishes to do my family harm can find out intimate details that I wouldn't normally share with strangers.  I want this to be a place where I can express all of my thoughts and feelings along with all of the accomplishments and joy of my children and husband.   It is probably a pretty boring blog, but this is my life!
