I thought I would start with our trip to Lagoon! It was our first time ever and we had a blast. Alison's dance team had a competition there a few weeks ago. She was finished dancing by noon, so we spent the rest of the day riding rides. We had a BLAST! These pictures did not post in the order I wanted them to, so sorry if they are kind of confusing...
Oh, and this is very important....Don't Judge My Apperance. I had a horrible hair cut a couple of days before and was trying to do what I could to look decent. I don't think I succeeded.
This is the one picture I have of "us" on the bat. Alison is sitting next to me, but I had to hurry and try to sneak a shot because I wasn't supposed to have a camera on the ride. This is what I got. Hehe!
This was some fish ride. It was basically like the Dumbo ride at Disneyland, but there were dolphins statues all around the ride that squirted water at us. I ended up soaked because Alison somehow managed to duck out of the way whenever we came near the squirting water. It would hit me square in the face. Alison thought that was pretty cool!
These are our good friends Brooke and her mom Marecia. Brooke is on Alison's dance team and Marecia is the team Mom. They really made the day fun. We spent the majority of it with them. This was the only ride Marecia would do though. It was one of my favorites. It went in a circle and then stopped and went backwards. Fun, fun!

Don't mind the crazy make-up. It was over the top, but needed to be for when she was on stage. I had just reapplied, so it is extremely crazy here. I also tried a new technique with her hair. I was not happy with the results. We wont be trying that again.
I forgot to mention that it was just Alison and I. The boys stayed home with Kirk because we weren't sure whether it would be worth it to pay for everyone to get in. We weren't sure whether they had kiddie rides or not. Alison and I had the best time so we will for sure be going back with all of the boys. On a side note, Evan got sick that day and scared his Momma to death. It was difficult being away from my sick little guy, but I knew Kirk was doing a good job taking care of him. Maybe we will head back for Hunter's birthday in July....
Also, I have to brag for a minute and let everyone know that Alison got FIRST place in all three of her dances. Go Saratoga Performing Arts!!!!
